A good few weeks.

The past few weeks have been real good, Hintertux, Whitelines feature, Head advert and to top it 3rd place at the Battle of Britain big air at the London Freeze.

My last week in Hintertux training with Team GB was good weather. I was able to perfect my backside spins and land bs7 thanks to coaching from Hamish Mcknight.

I have had a full page of coverage in the first snowboard magazine of the new season, with a contender page in Whitelines. The picture was taken from the photo shoot i went on with Head international team in Flaine back in April..

and then Head picked out the best pic from that session in Flaine, sooo stoked i have been used for my first ever advert for one of my sponsors, a Head advert in the first edition of this years Reason Magazine, get you free copy of this awesome free mag at your local snowboard shop!! :D

Then this weekend I came back to the U.K for the London Freeze festival. Was the first time i had ever hit a scaffolding city center jump it, was so scary!!! haha was a good few days! I took 3rd place in the Battle of Britain, couldn't believe it, was soooo stocked!!

Hintertux Austria

I have been in hintertux the past 2 weeks with the british freestyle team. The 1st week was good weather and a sick jump setup, i was really enjoying being back on the snow and looking forward to learning some new tricks. However the weather changed which brought some snowfall and so park has now been shut for all this week, we have kept ourselves busy skating (learnt blunt to fakie in the mini), swimming, trampolining and biking. The weather forecast looks good from tomorrow so hopefully the park and jumps will be back in good shape so we can start to throw down. Fingers crossed the good weather will stick around for a good few days / weeks .

Summer 2011

Sorry i havent posted for a while. Over the summer i have been travelling around France and England with my parents in our little 1979 camper van!!! :)

After the Olympic camp, i celebrated my 16th birthday at my grandparents in Coventry, all the family came around for a bbq. From Coventry we headed to our friend John's in Kent, he has a cool place with lots of land, i got to learn to ride a motocross bike correctly and to drift in an mx5 sports car! a fun few days!!

We then went across to the south west and padstow area to see some friends down there, we did lots of cool stuff! climbing on the cliffs, exploring caves for pirates treasure but we didn't find!

We also played crazy golf and pitch and putt, not my thing until i tried hitting the ball like Happy Gilmore!

Tried surfing, well they did i just drowned and got back out haha, i also had my first ever cream tea was awesome!! :)

 and just hung around!

We headed back to france travelling down through brittany visiting where i holidayed with school a few years back and then followed all the way along the Loire valley and back home to Courch. We were back home for a couple of days and then left for west coast of France with my parents and a mate. It took us 5 days to get there because on our way the alternator in our van broke so we had to get it repaired turns out that not many people have a 1979 vw alternator spare haha. We visited some historic places on the way at Pont du Gard and the arena in Nimes.

and drove through Grenade! We finally got to Capbreton / Hossegor, i went surfing again and loved it this time! it might have some thing to do with the fact that the waves were small but still was scary for me ! haha, we planned to surf a few days however the waves disappeared completely so we spent the next few days just travelling around on our cool cruiser bikes we hired,

We saw a load of locals jumping off the bridge into estuary so gave that a few goes. We then headed up to jarnac in cognac region for a friends wedding was cool. After that we came back home to Courch via the Dordogne, Central Massif and Rhone Valley. After this trip didnt realise France had such a Medieval history and so much to see. Now just chilling and till i get back on the snow, only few weeks till i head to Hintertux Austria.

GB Olympic training camp.

I have just completed a weeks training camp at Loughborough University with Team GB / British Olympic Association in preparation for the Youth Olympics in Innsbruck Austria Jan 2012. I met loads of new people there in bobsleigh, ski freestyle, ski cross and lots more winter sports. At the camp they taught us about fitness, media, team work and lots more. We had talks by Clive Woodward and other olympians to inspire us. Something that sticks in my mind is the T-cup which means Thinking correctly under pressure, which will hopefully help me in competitions in the future. We did lots of fitness routines, which i will be able to continue with a program when i get home. I wasn't sure what to expect from the camp, however it was great fun and i learnt a lot about all aspects of being an athlete and part of a team. I also got to take a way loads of Team GB kit which was cool.

This is me giving my presentation alongside the the ski freestyle team.

This is us doing one of the team challenges.
